27.01.2020 OLYMP: More beautiful shirts for the fashion market in Bella Italia
With an export ratio of around 37 percent, OLYMP products are now delivered to more than 40 countries worldwide. With the exception of South Tyrol, where OLYMP products have been availa-ble for decades at numerous trading companies between Brixen, Bolzano and Merano, Italy has only been one of its priority sales regions since 2018. While sales were initially concentrated on three regions in the north-west (Piedmont, Liguria and the Valle d’Aosta), three more parts of the Italian Republic have now been added in the form of Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Trentino.
The C. & G. Sas Di Capovin agency, from Thiene in the province of Vicenza, has been secured as a sales partner and has many years of experience in the marketing of German clothing products in its home country. It already started some weeks ago with the acquisition of potential retail cus-tomers in north-eastern Italy. Mark Bezner, owner and CEO of OLYMP Bezner KG, had the follow-ing to say: “Italian fashion enjoys a very high global reputation and its people are renowned all over the world for their exquisite taste in clothing. It’s therefore a great challenge to live up to their demands. However, it’s turned out that we’ve been able to rapidly win over our Italian clien-tele with our international collection of shirts, knitwear and accessories.”
In particular, the outstanding product performance of the OLYMP range in terms of quality, workmanship, comfort and easy care represents a decisive competitive advantage in this highly competitive fashion market. Our marketing focus is on the successful segments OLYMP Luxor and OLYMP Level Five, OLYMP No. Six, OLYMP Casual and OLYMP knitwear.
Mark Bezner explains further: “If we succeed in continuing to develop this market so consistently, it’s quite conceivable that a subsequent expansion stage into Italy’s southern provinces won’t be too long in coming. In any case, we see considerable potential for our high-quality products, which we intend to exploit step by step”.
While the commercial agency C. & G. Sas Di Capovin from Vicenza is responsible for the regions of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino, Porro Rappresentanze S.a.s. in Turin is responsible for the provinces of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d’Aosta.
