In Freiburg with the Roserbrothers
They live in Stuttgart and constantly travel all over the world. But today, Florian and Simon Roser (“the Roserbrothers”),
have grabbed a Porsche in Stuttgart to carry us off to their childhood home of Freiburg.

Breakfast at Lebemann’s
Lebemann (German for both “bon vivant” & “man-about-town”) is located in the Habsburger Strasse between the suburb of Herdern and the city – thus not quite in the inner city, but still in the town centre. Here you can easily find a park, and a table, and enjoy a delicious breakfast, or just have a cup of coffee. And we find the name really cool!
Wandering through the Old Town
For us, a visit home always means slowing down too – so we love going for a leisurely stroll through the pretty town centre
around Martin’s Gate as well as the Swabian Gate. Just like in the old days with mum and dad.
Meeting up with friends at Bruder Wolf
The current hotspot in Freiburg is “the remarkable Bruder Wolf”, directly adjoining the notorious Bermuda Triangle area. With its cool atmosphere,
we like to meet our old home-town buddies there, or set up our temporary office.
Lunch with a view of the Jesuit Castle
The Jesuit Castle is a typical location for Freiburg: beautiful, but nevertheless very relaxed and not at all posh. Here – over a tarte flambée and an apple spritzer – you can dreamily take in the views over the city. Picture-perfect!
Our insider tip: Dinner at Gleis 1
We have to admit: we don’t come directly from Freiburg, but rather from the municipality of March. There, in the former railway station building, Gleis 1 is located – a restaurant where you’ll never be disappointed and where we traditionally arrange to meet up with friends at Christmas. Whether turkey escalope, tacos con carne, or Alsatian sausage salad: here you can’t go wrong.
