OLYMP: Apprenticeships and Dual Courses of Study to Combat a Shortage of Skilled Workers

Fashion brand offers attractive career prospects in the world of fashion

OLYMP Bezner KG, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Ludwigsburg district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany), stands by its social responsibility as a qualified vocational training enterprise in the German textile and clothing industry. The fashion brand – internationally known for its high-quality shirts, polo shirts, T-shirts and jumpers – offers apprenticeships in various professions and several dual study programmes to provide interested individuals with future-oriented career prospects.

Mark Bezner, owner and CEO of OLYMP Bezner KG, explains: “Since it is becoming increasingly difficult to recruit highly qualified employees to the clothing industry, this initiative is an important investment in the future for us in order to meet our growing need for skilled workers. Thus we’re delighted to be able to offer a whole range of attractive apprenticeships”. Upon successful comple-tion of the vocational training or dual study programme, the chances for subsequent employment at OLYMP are very good. Mark Bezner adds: “Quite a few of our long-standing team members and managers once started their careers with a solid apprenticeship at OLYMP”.

At the beginning of the new 2023/2024 training year, 14 trainees and dual students started at OLYMP. OLYMP are currently a total of 20 trainees in the occupations of industrial clerk (13), warehouse logistics specialist (3), IT systems integration specialist (3) and IT application develop-ment specialist (1).
