Fine premium cotton fabrics, primarily in full-twist quality (two-ply), made from particularly fine yarns, testify to exclusivity. The material’s exceptional quality is combined with excellent ironing and care properties. And we’re convinced: the unique wearing sensation is just as noticeable on you as it is on the shirt.

Whereas standard shirts are usually based on double sizes, i.e. the shirt body remains exactly identical over two neck sizes, with  OLYMP Signature each individual size is cut according to individual measurements. Due to this finer gradation, the shirt adapts perfectly to the particular body shape. It wears as if tailor-made.

OLYMP Signature is tailored according to all the rules of crafts- manship. That’s how we create the hand-sewn flat felled seams and buttonholes finished with an especially fine pearl stitch. The buttons, made of real mother-of-pearl or tagua nut, are polished and have lightly rounded backs to ensure smooth fastening. Using houndstooth stitch, we sew them on with a shank with the thread wrapped around it in an additional process – according to good Neapolitan tradition. The spare button is only for psychological security.

The back yoke of an OLYMP Signature shirt is also entirely tailored to achieve maximum comfort. We divide it in the middle and join the halves with a separate seam where stripes and checks mirror each other. In addition to this visual feature, the split makes the shoulder area more snug and elastic – and offers more comfort when moving. Another advantage: The material allowance folded in to both sides along the dividing seam forms a third layer of fabric and makes it impossible for the label to show through, even on white shirts.

The collar is the face of the shirt. For OLYMP Signature, we make it with the necessary sturdiness for a correct fit, but with a soft, generously proportioned interlining.. The neckline, which sits a little lower than usual in the vicinity of the top buttons due to the special workmanship, offers noticeably increased comfort, whether with the collar buttoned up or open. Removable collar stays, another quality feature, protect the collar tips during washing.

Every OLYMP Signature cuff has a generously rounded edge. We consciously position the button closer to the sleeve, allowing the cuff to flexibly adjust in width when the arm is moved. And slides over your watch, for instance, without you feeling a thing or having to help it along. There is no need for a second button to adjust the width, which gives the cuff a uniquely elegant look.

Every OLYMP Signature shirt has two darts in the back which have been closed using special stitches. These stitches can easily be opened if required. When they are closed, they accentuate the tailored figure. When open, they provide around four centimetres of additional width. This means that an OLYMP Signature shirt is able to grow with you, to a certain extent.

A shirt doesn’t have an easy life. The front and back sections are subject to high levels of stress. In order to absorb these, an OLYMP Signature shirt has a small but elaborately crafted triangle inserted at the join, the so-called hem gusset. A feature which is not only practical, but also fashionable.
