Lessons have started for 250 pupils in the newly constructed school building

 

The charitable foundation OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung has donated a further 10,000 euros for the successful school project in Dano, Haiti. Together with Matthias Eigel and the "Haiti-WIR-helfen e.V." aid organisation, the OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung from Bietigheim-Bissingen in Germany supports the financing of teachers and schooling for around 250 Haitian children. The aim of the fundraising campaign is to create a long-term financial basis for school education, school meals and development of the social skills of school-age children on the crisis-torn Caribbean island.

Positive development in Germany and in the international export markets

 

On 31 December 2018, OLYMP Bezner KG based in Bietigheim-Bissingen (in the district of Ludwigsburg / Baden-Württemberg / Germany), once again recorded a growth in sales figures and an increased turn-over of 266 million euros (258 million euros in 2017). In comparison to the previous year, this represents an increase of 3.1 percent. The company continues to grow within a very difficult market environment, despite the contrary trend which prevails in this sector. The number of employees has increased by a further 39 to 890. This successful producer of men's shirts, knitwear, sweatwear and accessories also recorded increased export figures in 2018.

Intensification of product presentation and brand awareness at the point of sale

 

From 1 November 2018, OLYMP Bezner KG will have a new Head of Visual Merchandising with the appointment of Jasmin Nüchtern (40), born in Rhineland-Palatinate. Under her coordination, the different creative, marketing and communication channels ranging from the design department to retail, specialist dealers and e-commerce, right through to marketing, are to be more closely interlinked in the future and a homogeneous brand perception guaranteed on a high level.
