OLYMP has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2021. Fair Wear Foundation is a multi-stakeholder initiative that supports garment companies in implementing human rights due diligence in their supply chains. Membership facilitates identifying, and mitigating, remediating human-rights risks and harms, promoting access to remedy for workers, and tracking and communicating progress. Membership is not a product or factory certification and does not guarantee a risk or harm-free supply chain.

OLYMP delivers a look you can rely on throughout the day – natural, confident, and right for every situation. That confidence is built on trust: in the fit and easy care, but also in the materi-als we use and where they come from. That’s why ecological requirements for raw materials, materials, and production flow directly into our product design. What this means in practice is visible on the garment itself through third-party certifications that independently verify our stand-ards. Organic fibres certified to the GOTS

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibres. The GOTS lays down strict requirements for environmentally friendly and socially responsible production at every stage of the textile supply chain – starting with a ban on genetically modified raw materials, to restrictions on the use of chemicals and dyes, and requirements for ingredients and production processes, to strict residue and quality parameters. The entire textile supply chain is subject to an independent and transparent certification process.

Organic fibres certified to the OCS

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) provides clear evidence of the percentage of organic fibres in a finished product. Depending on its level, the label OCS 100 or OCS Blended is awarded. Organic cotton is grown following strict organic criteria. For example, the use of genetically modified seeds is prohibited, as is the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilisers

Responsible wool certified to the RWS

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) ensures that the wool used comes from farms that consider animal welfare and sustainable pasture management. The use of mulesing can be excluded. For the labeled items, all wool fiber is sourced from sheep raised in a species-appropriate manner. Regular audits are carried out by independent certification bodies.

Recycled fibres certified to the RCS

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) sets out the criteria for traceability and certification of recycled materials. OLYMP products comply with the RCS 100 label grades(certified recycled fibres accounting for at least 95% of the product) and the RCS Blended standard (certified recycled fibres accounting for up to 94% of the product).

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN

The OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN product label identifies products that have been manufactured under sustainable and socially responsible conditions: From yarn to finished product, they are made in factories that are more environmentally friendly and in workplaces that are safe and socially responsible, certified by OEKO-TEX® STeP. It provides certainty that a textile is made from materials tested for harmful substances, guaranteed by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibres

TENCEL™ is a brand of Lenzing AG. TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibres are derived from the natural raw material wood. Compared with conventional Lyocell and Modal fibres, they are produced with at least 50 % lower CO₂ emissions and water consumption*.

* The results are based on standardized life cycle assessments (LCAs) in accordance with international standards such as ISO 14040 and 14044 and are available via the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (MSI, version 3.7).

This look feels made for you. Innovative product and design ideas come together in classic colours and a timeless aesthetic. The collections developed together with professional sailor and climate advocate Boris Herrmann feature carefully chosen materials such as 100% certified organic cotton or organic linen, buttons made from corozo (tagua nut), and sewing threads made from cotton or cellulose fibres. We continue to push innovation in both materials and pro-duction, using only raw materials that are certified to the demanding Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The result: versatile pieces designed to move with you, day after day.
